Tracy got the “dog training bug” in 1986 but with her first dog Tess, an English Springer. Tracy taught Tess to pull a tissue out of a Kleenex box when she sneezed. After performing the trick at a local pet expo, Tracy and Tess were invited to appear on David Letterman’s Stupid Pet Tricks.

Since Letterman, Tracy has competed in Flyball, Obedience and Agility with several dogs. Her Jack Russell Hannah has also garnered several acting roles including commercials for Simmons Beautyrest and Lowes and an appearance in the Atlanta Film Festival. Simon her Whippet at one time was ranked the #4 Agility Whippet in the US.

She has had the chance participate in camps and seminars and learn from some agility greats, including Karen Holik, Anne Braue, Linda Mecklenburg, Susan Garrett, Jen Pinder and Wendy Pape.

Tracy adopted Wyatt, her current agility dog, on Dec 31, 2006 when he had just turned one year. Wyatt spent the first year of his life on a 500 acre cattle ranch in South Georgia. He was returned to his breeder because he was incessantly chasing the cattle. Since then Wyatt has learned the game of agility very quickly and has so far earned his AX and MXJ.
