I have had dogs - mostly mutts at first - all my life. I fell in love with Lassie soooo many years ago, but when I got an apartment, I knew a collie wasn't a good choice, so I went with the smaller version, and have been hooked on Shelties ever since. When I met Nina Plail seven years ago, I began working with her on breeding the "all around Sheltie".

Nine years ago, the local Sheltie club had an "agility" day at Dana Frick's home. Dana watched my Casey playing on all of this equipment he'd never seen before like a pro. After a few hours, she flat out told me I had to train this dog, that he was a natural. She pointed me to Sirius, and John, Meryl, Beth, Janelle and Melissa, and the rest was history.

Casey is my heart dog. He taught me agility, and to love it as much as he did. His championships were incredible moments. Chloe has taught me -some- patience, but we definitely have more work to do. Her daughter Cevyn is amazing, and I just hope I can do this little dynamo justice!!

Its so much easier to watch others run and see their mistakes than it is to acknowledge your own short-comings! I look forward to helping other students see the potential in their dogs, developing those relationships, and becoming as addicted to Agility as the rest of us!!
