After dabbling in agility at JRTCA trials, I decided that I needed to get Sirius, and with the help of Katherine Crawford, found my way to Atlanta.

Here I have been able to train with some of the best dog/handler teams in the southeast, if not some of the most forgiving of my lousy footwork and inconsistencies in handling.   Notwithstanding my total lack of foundation work, Rigby was able to get her Elite titles in NADAC, and now Roux is ADCH.  I am proud to report that I have much more fun in the ring now that I have a team of onlookers who will not hesitate to fault me for handling with my rear end, or judging my own run, and jabbing me for the myriad of agility faux pas I am guilty of.  The rate of my errors will hopefully not increase proportionately with the speed of my next dog, Twist, as she has demonstrated only two modes in training so far: really fast or stopped.
